In November 2022, Rep. Janel Brandtjen, who was serving as Chair of the Assembly Committee on Campaigns and Elections at the time, issued a warning about election fraud.
Rep. Brandtjen received three authentic military ballots at her residence addressed to “Holly,” a woman who has never resided there.
Brantjen believed this was part of a scheme to steal votes in Wisconsin.
Later that week, Wisconsin radio host Dan OโDonnell reported that Kimberly Zapata, the deputy director of the City of Milwaukee Election Commission, was dismissed for engaging in election fraud.
Claire Woodall-Vogg, the Director of the Milwaukee Elections Commission, who has been scrutinized multiple times by The Gateway Pundit for her controversial decisions, stated that she thinks Zapata was trying to highlight the fact that military ballots can be requested and mailed without requiring a photo ID or voter registration.
Democrats claim that Zapata’s intention was to demonstrate how simple it is to request fraudulent ballots when she committed her offense.
They swiftly came to her defense, dismissing the allegations as a conspiracy theory, despite the fact that the scenario unfolded exactly as Zapata had predicted.
Kimberly Zapata later lawyered up.
On Friday, November 4, 2022, Attorneys Erick Kaardal and Michael Gableman of the Thomas More Society, along with Rep. Brandtjen, initiated a lawsuit.
On Wednesday, Kimberly Zapata was found guilty on all charges for illegally requesting military ballots.
As reported by FOX 6 Now:
A Milwaukee County jury has reached a verdict in the trial of Kimberly Zapata โ and found Zapata guilty on all counts against her.
Zapata is the fired Milwaukee Election Commission deputy director accused of illegally requesting military ballots and sending them to the home of State Rep. Janel Brandtjen (R-Menomonee Falls).
Zapata did not testify in her own defense. She was charged with election fraud. Prosecutors say in 2022, she ordered military ballots using names she made up. Zapata told investigators she was trying to prove there is fraud in our election system. She said she never intended the ballots to be processedโฆ
โฆIn Wisconsin, military voters do not have to show a photo ID to receive an absentee ballot.
Court documents say clerks sent three ballots to the home of State Rep. Janel Brandtjen โ who then reported them to the authorities.
