WATCH: Trump Reveals Everything You Need to Know About His Next VP Pick

In an interview with Dr. Phil, President Trump disclosed that he will announce his running mate at the RNC next month.

It remains unclear whom Trump will choose from his list of contenders for the position.

Dr. Ben Carson recently announced a meeting with President Trump scheduled for this weekend in Michigan, sparking speculation that he could potentially be Trump’s running mate.

Both men are set to speak at Turning Point USA’s “People’s Convention.”

Recently, Dr. Phil traveled to Mar-a-Lago to sit down with President Trump for an exclusive one-on-one interview.

During the interview, Dr. Phil and Trump covered a variety of topics, including Biden’s alleged political persecution of the top Presidential candidate, Biden’s cognitive decline, and Biden’s impact on America.

When asked about his choice for running mate, Trump told Dr. Phil that he plans to announce it at the convention in July.

As reported by The Hill:

The former president had previously hinted that there was a “good chance” he would announce his running mate at the convention in Milwaukee, slated for July 15-18.

He hinted at the same plan to Fox News last week, saying “I think I’ll announce who that person’s going to be during the convention.”

“I think that’s pretty normal — during the convention, it will be an interesting period of time,” Trump said on “Hannity.”

North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum (R) and Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Tim Scott (R-S.C.) and JD Vance (R-Ohio) have all reportedly received recent vetting requests from the Trump campaign.

Dr. Phil: Are you going to tell me who your Vice Presidential choice is?

Trump: I can’t yet, but we have some very good people. I’m going to do it at the Convention. Come up during the convention, and we’ll do an interview. This was an honor to be here.
