BREAKING NEWS: Trump Files Defamation Lawsuit Against E. Jean Carroll Over False Rape Allegation

Former President Donald Trump has retaliated against E. Jean Carroll, who accused him of rape, by filing a defamation lawsuit, claiming her accusations are false.

This countersuit comes after a civil jury’s verdict in May, which found Trump “guilty of sexual abuse and defamation” but not rape.

Trump’s counterclaim was submitted to the federal court in Manhattan on Tuesday, referencing Carroll’s remarks on CNN following the verdict.

According to The Guardian, Trump is seeking compensatory and punitive damages, along with a retraction.

As noted in the court filing, Trump “has been the subject of significant harm to his reputation, which, in turn, has yielded an inordinate amount of damages sustained as a result.”

Judge Lewis Kaplan, appointed by Clinton who is known for his controversial rulings, has scheduled a trial date in early 2024 for Carroll’s defamation case against Trump, which was filed in 2019.

The trial’s timing, which questionably aligns with the upcoming first presidential primaries, appears to be the Democrats’ latest attempt to interfere in the 2024 election.

For some reason, the Republican Party has chosen to ignore this seemingly evident bias.

Carroll’s peculiar case is based on her claim that then-President Trump defamed her in 2019 by stating she was “not my type,” all the while denying her accusation of raping her in a department store dressing room.

The jury in New York dismissed her rape allegations since Carroll couldn’t even provide a specific year for the alleged incident.

Despite her accusations, she remained an avid fan of Trump’s show for yearsโ€”a rather odd contradiction.

Nonetheless, the court ordered Trump to pay Carroll $5 million.
