On Thursday, a CNN poll revealed that 70% of Americans think that Joe Biden lacks the stamina and sharpness to efficiently serve as the President of the United States.
62% believe that Joe Biden does not inspire confidence, while 54% consider him to be untrustworthy and dishonest. Also, 54% claim that Biden does not care about people like them.
The poll also found that few Americans, specifically 32%, believe that Joe Biden deserves to be re-elected. Within the Democratic party, 54% of members would prefer a different nominee for the 2024 election, while only 44% advocate for Biden to be the nominee.
According to the poll, the majority, which is 51%, do not believe that Joe Biden has the ability to effectively collaborate with Congress. On the other hand, 48% of those surveyed do think he has the capacity to work with Congress.
“The numbers are beyond sobering for President Biden,” CNN anchor John King said about the poll. “Consider these numbers an early campaign baseline.”
From March 1 to March 31, a total of 1,595 Americans were surveyed in the poll, which has a margin of error of 3.3 points.
