Left-leaning globalists are pushing everyday citizens to give up meat and turn to insects as a food source, but they wouldn’t touch these so-called delicacies themselves. A shocking incident on Wednesday at a hotel in Chicago, where DNC delegates were staying, perfectly highlighted this double standard.
WGN-TV reported on Wednesday that a group of unidentified activists dumped large quantities of maggots into the breakfasts of attendees at the DNC Convention at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago. Chicago police officers and Illinois state troopers quickly responded, deploying law enforcement into the hotel’s lobby near the meeting rooms.
The outlet reported that an FBI van was seen parked outside the hotel, which is hosting state delegates from Indiana, Minnesota, Ohio, Missouri, and South Dakota. The FBI is now investigating the incident.
Fairmont Chicago hotel spokesperson Haley Robles confirmed the disgusting episode to WGN-TV and stated the staff quickly sanitized the area.
“We can confirm that a group of individuals caused a disruption at a DNC-related breakfast event at our hotel this morning,” Robles said.
“Our team acted immediately to clean and sanitize the area, ensuring that the event could continue without further incident,” she added.
A Chicago city spokesperson told WGN-TV that several women managed to sneak into the building and placed the wriggling creatures into the food. One person was treated at the scene.
“Multiple unknown female offenders are alleged to have entered a building (200 block of North Columbus Drive) and began placing unknown objects onto tables containing food.”
“The offenders are believed to have then left the area. One victim was treated and released on-scene. Along with CPD, FBI-Chicago is assisting in the investigation. No further information is available at this time.”
DNC delegates attending the breakfast were relieved that Chicago Police and the FBI quickly responded, preventing the critters from causing any harm.
“They protected us, of course, and turned it around in minutes,” said Indiana delegate Tracy Boyd. “I really do want to give a shout-out to the hotel staff and leadership.”
Although the perpetrators are still unknown, the anti-Semitic protesters outside the DNC are considered prime suspects, as they have used similar tactics before.
As previously reported a group of pro-Hamas protesters released maggots at the Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C., to protest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the United States.
It’s significant that law enforcement, especially the FBI, responded so swiftly when they believed Democrats were at risk. If the situation had involved Republicans, it’s likely law enforcement would have not only delayed their response but might have even blamed the victims.
