BREAKING NEWS: Border Patrol Agent Was Shot at by Armed Thugs From Mexican Side of Border in El Paso

A Border Patrol agent was shot at from armed individuals near El Paso, Texas, specifically in San Elizario, early Thursday afternoon. The shots were fired from the Mexican side of the border. The agent returned fire, as reported by CBP, and fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Based on an internal alert from CBP, the armed individuals never crossed into the United States.

As reported by El Paso Times:

A person in Mexico shot at a U.S. Border Patrol agent during a “use of force” incident near San Elizario, authorities said.

The shooting happened before 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at the U.S.-Mexico border near the San Elizario area.

The agent came “under fire from the Mexican side” of the border, a law enforcement source told the El Paso Times. The shooting was described as a “use of force incident.”

Ali Bradley reported that, alongside Thursday’s incident, another occurred last week in the El Paso sector involving an illegal alien stabbing others. A National Guard soldier deployed as part of Operation Lonestar intervened and shot the illegal.

The heart of the issue lies in the Federal Government’s failure to fulfill its duty of securing our border, a responsibility outlined in Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution.

In February, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” During his interview, he avoided taking any responsibility for the border crisis.

“Do you bear responsibility for what is happening at the border?” Kristin Welker asked.

“We don’t bear responsibility for a broken system,” Mayorkas said.

WATCH:

Under the Biden administration, an astonishing 10 to 12 million illegal aliens have entered the United States since January 2021.

That number equals about the population of 41 individual states. This ongoing border crisis persists in America under Joe Biden’s leadership.
