The Phoenix Police Department sent a bomb squad to the Turning Point USA headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, to investigate a ‘suspicious bag’ at the location.
The area was cleared as police investigated the incident.
Supporters have gathered daily at the South Phoenix headquarters since Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a trans-sympathizing leftist at Utah Valley University one week ago. Kirk’s funeral will be held Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, with the public invited to attend and pay their respects.
The Phoenix Police Department announced:
This morning PPD was notified about a suspicious bag in the area of 49th St. and Beverly Rd. In the abundance of caution and for the safety of those in the area, this location has been cleared and the PPD Bomb Squad has responded. There is not a threat attached to the incident.
Video from the scene showed a bomb squad officer arriving in a full Explosive Ordnance Disposal suit.

This incident follows a disturbing act by a leftist who, dressed in the same outfit as Charlie Kirk’s assassin, stomped on and destroyed a memorial created by supporters for the 31-year-old husband and father.
Police immediately arrested the individual, identified as 19-year-old Ryder Corral, at the scene.
This is a developing story. We’ll update as soon as we gather more information.
