Charlie Kirk’s Funeral Set for September 21 at State Farm Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona

The funeral for conservative activist Charlie Kirk will be held next Sunday (September 21) at State Farm Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona. It will begin at 11 a.m. PT with doors opening at 8 a.m.

Kirk was tragically killed on Wednesday while speaking to students at Utah Valley University during the first stop of his “Prove Me Wrong: The American Comeback” tour. He was taking questions from the crowd when a single shot was fired, striking Kirk in the neck. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

There was an outpouring of support for Kirk and his family following the shooting, with political leaders from both parties condemning political violence. On Friday, a special episode of The Charlie Kirk show was recorded to honor the late host. His chair was left empty, while the show’s producer Andrew Kolvet, and several of Kirk’s friends, Tyler Bowyer, Jack Posobiec, and Blake Neff reminisced about Kirk’s life and legacy.

The suspected shooter, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, was taken into custody following a manhunt that lasted nearly two days.

The manhunt ended after his father recognized him in photos released by the FBI. He confronted his son, who reportedly confessed to the shooting. Robinson’s father then called a family friend who is a youth pastor and works with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the US Marshal’s Service. The friend then contacted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and arranged for Robinson’s surrender.
