BREAKING NEWS: FBI Suddenly Finds 2,400 Previously Undisclosed Records Related to JFK Assassination, Never Shared With Review Board

Donald Trump’s plan to release the files tied to the assassination of John F. Kennedy has already unearthed nearly 2,400 new documents that could shed light on the mystery.

In late January, Trump signed an executive order authorizing the release of the remaining classified records about the 1963 shooting in one of his first acts upon returning to the White House.

The White House was alerted on Friday that the FBI discovered about 14,000 pages of documents as the agency set about reviewing the secret files in response to the order.

“This is huge. It shows the FBI is taking this seriously,” Jefferson Morley, an expert on the Kennedy murder told Axios. “The FBI is finally saying, ‘Let’s respond to the president’s order,’ instead of keeping the secrecy going.”

While experts claimed the discovery could lead to a new era of transparency regarding the shooting, Trump insiders worried the development was a stall tactic.

One anonymous Trump aide was furious, calling the development “total Deep State bulls**t.”

Another said: “When POTUS hears about this stonewalling, he’s gonna hit the roof.”

A source from the FBI, in a statement to Fox News, claimed that the discovery was made possible due to recent technological advancements and an extensive effort to digitize and inventory their records.

“In 2020, the FBI opened the Central Records Complex and began a multi-year effort to first ship and then electronically inventory and store closed case files from FBI field offices across the country,” the FBI told Fox News. “The resulting, more comprehensive records inventory, coupled with the technologic advances in automating the FBI’s record keeping processes, allows us to more quickly search and locate records.”

“The FBI conducted a new records search pursuant to President Trump’s Executive Order issued on January 23, 2025, regarding the declassification of the assassination files of JFK, RFK, and MLK. The search resulted in approximately 2400 newly inventoried and digitized records that were previously unrecognized as related to the JFK assassination case file.”

“The FBI has made the appropriate notifications of the newly discovered documents and is working to transfer them to the National Archives and Records Administration for inclusion in the ongoing declassification process.”
